Have you been to Singapore? If yes, have you heard of Botak Jones? Nope, I am not talking about some pub down Orchard Street or a budget motel. I am introducing to you one of the best Western Cuisine in Singapore –
Botak Jones. Even if you are a visiting Malaysian, Botak Jones would be an affordable choice for grand Western meals that is value for money and double in richness (of cheese). I love cheese! And I love Botak Jones more than our local TGIF servings.

Here’s my favourite order at Botak Jones:
The Double Botak. It’s served in the most classic way – thick patties between soft seeded bun – with a generous topping of cheese and nothing else. Forget the tomatoes, lettuce and pickles. Just enjoy the classic taste of Double Botak, one giant double beef burger, that will keep your stomach beaming till the very last bite. How tall is it? About 10cm. Wait, make that 15cm. I am thinking of attempting their next giant burger – the triple beef burger known as
U-CRAZY-WHAT?!. I have not seen it served to other tables yet and I’m wondering how tall the burger can be. I’ll give it a try next time round. Anyone up for the challenge, hands up! The treat will be on me.

Here's a photo of my little cousin enjoying her set meal. Shift your focus to the fries on her plate. They are not regular fries. It's another signature dish of Botak Jones
: Spicy Fries. No trans fat or cholesterol in them because the fries are cooked in pure vegetable oil (or at least that's what is stated in the menu). Dusted with (what seems like) chillie powder, the Spicy Fries is a favourite among my cousins in Singapore. I am sure they counted how many they were on the plate before they start digging in just to make sure that their siblings couldn't wipe one off when they are not looking.

Fish & Chips. Looks like your regular serving at the mamak stall but take a closer look. It’s the entire Premium Basa filet wrapped with bread crumbs so crispy, you wouldn’t be sure if you are enjoying the brittle outside more or the soft juicy white meat on the inside. I’m sure my Grandpa in Singapore would love this very much (he’s a fish & chip fan).

Don’t fancy burgers and steaks? Don’t frown! I remember seeing a wide range of juicy hotdog meals available for your preference in the menu. For example, check out the one my sister had (photo above). I can’t remember what it is called. But I’m loving the cheese melting from the top.

So ya, I am craving for that triple beef patties in one single bun – U-CRAZY-WHAT?!. Couldn’t even find anything close to it in Malaysia. The closest I have found was in a cosy place at Bangsar Village known as The Daily Grind. It was only half the height of my favourite Double Botak and I could not even afford that. I am looking forward to visit Singapore again for its Botak Jones, the most delicious Western Cuisines served at irresistible affordable prices. I’m just drooling thinking of it. Yummy!
