Anonymous Lawyer

I am not sure if Anonymous Lawyer is a fiction or true story, but it may as well has been a real testimony because the story felt so believable and exciting, I was reading from page to page since the minute I picked it up. I would have finished reading the entire book in one day but I told myself to slow down - I was afraid I couldn't find another good book as this when I am done reading. It's a silly thought, I know, but it exists.

Anonymous Lawyer is a compilation of blog posts and email threads revolving the life of a partner lawyer in an international firm. Using the Internet as a platform to express himself, Anonymous Lawyer starts writing about his life and experience at the firm. He describes the firm from his point of view; the people, the rules, the tricks, the summer and the game - The entire game of being at the top of the law industry. Before he realises it, he starts sharing his game tactics in the blog, unaware that someone in the firm is watching him. Someone knows. About the blog. About his thoughts. About his plan. How would he play the game and be Chairman then?

If you enjoy reading blogs and people's email, this is a must-read book. If you enjoy snooping into people's life, this is most certainly recommended. But if you hate emails and think reading blogs is a waste of time, then stay away. Anonymous Lawyer is best enjoyed by those who wants a pinch of blogging style writing while knowing that there is an ending to the first post that began it all.
