My Little Bride

Caught another Korean movie with my siblings yesterday on TV. First impression: How on earth can a college guy marry a sixteen years old high school girl? It's like 'omigosh' when I calculated the age gap. But then again, people always say don't measure LOVE with the amount of money we earn, the career status we have, or even age. So I guess I should just enjoy the film.

Sangmin is a playboy college guy who is currently completing his practical studies in Art while Boeun is just another ordinary student who loves her grandfather really much. When her grandfather insisted on a marriage between both of them, forcefully they agreed.

Living under the same roof wasn't tough as they had separate rooms. Boeun's parents made sure that their little girl remains a virgin until she reaches the age of twenty. Things got out of hand when Boeun started dating the most popular guy at school. Sangmin realised that he may be falling in love with Boeun as each day passes by but she is definitely not seeing him as a potential lover.

What happened in the end? Well, that's for you to watch and for me to know. Heck, you have to agree with me that these two people make a funny couple. I still think that it's quite impossible to have both of them as a couple. They look more like an older brother and a younger sister - siblings. Don't you think so?

Oh, by the way, if they were supposed to fall in love with one another, then I would say the story did a bad job in bringing out the process of falling in love. There was no such process in the film.
