Go Eun Chan is a girl who is the head of her family after the death of her father. In order to bring home enough income to support both her mother and younger sister, Eun Chan has built herself to be strong with perseverance and attitude. Her personality often makes others mistaken her as a guy. Even the girls in high school call her 'Oppa'.
Independent as she is, she relies solely on her own to strive through life but things changed when she bumped into Choi Han Kyul, who is the owner of a cafe in the neighbourhood known as Coffee Prince. Only guys are hired to work there. Mistaking Eun Chan as a guy, she was hired to be part of the team. Overtime, the two falls in love with one another and a love story begins.
In the making of their love affair, obstacles are not avoidable. Cousin Han Sung realised that he might be in love with Eun Chan though he is in a relationship with Han Yoo Joo. Han Kyul used to have a crush on Yoo Joo too. Not only that, before Eun Chan falls in love with Han Kyul, she once liked his cousin. Complicated eh?! I only enjoyed the part where Han Kyul goes through a hard time trying to sort out his feelings towards Eun Chan because he thought he was turning into a gay. Haha!
Anyway, well done to actress Yoon Eun Hye. I've never seen a girl played the role of a guy so well. She even beats Ella in the Hanakimi series. I think I like Eun Hye playing a guy's role more because she makes the role believable. Loose-fitting shirts (my personal favourite) and casually worn sneakers - I like that image. It convinces others that a girl doesn't have to be feminine to be loved - she just needs to be the person she is inside and someone out there will love her for her. Coupled with her cute feature, this character really suit her well. I like her more in this series than the Princess Hours.
As for Gong Yoo, you will remember him from the series Biscuit Teacher And Star Candy in which he played the role of a student who was in love with his teacher. I like him best in that series so far because in this series, Gong Yoo seems a little immatured for his role. He still has the same expression. I just think that a good actor should be able to have different expressions to portray a single emotion.
Overall, you will have fun laughing at the couple - Eun Chan and Han Kyul - because they sure make a cute couple. Love makes people do funny things. These funny things are just entertaining to watch. You will surely dream of those fond moments you have with your loved ones when you watch this. Either that, or you will wish your partner is as loving as them.
Go watch! I wouldn't want to say anymore because I know not many people have watched it. So catch up with the craze now!
