Baby & Me

The title is cheesy, the poster is heavenly and the boys in the film are real cuties. Baby & Me is a Korean production of a single dad raising up a child he assumes is his when the baby just appears in his trolley at the supermarket one day. Wait a minute, just before you think that he is a stupid 18-year-old, the baby actually came with a note that says the child is his. How is someone to deny his responsiblities when it is clearly written on a piece of paper?

Joon-soo is a leader in his high school. He oftens get into fights, smokes in the classroom and does all the things that bad boys do. It's not surprising that the principal keeps suspending him from school and his parents have trouble disciplining him. And so, the strangest thing happened: His parents run away from home so that he will have to learn how to survive without money allowances. Well, at least they leave him with a roof over his head. On normal circumstances, it would be easy for a person to survive when all he has to do is earn enough money to feed himself. But how does Joon-soo manage it all when he has a child to take care of 24/7, classes to attend at school and no money to even buy milk powder? A baby in the class is the last thing that everyone needs.

Baby & Me is a comedy that everyone should watch if you are up for laughters, laughters and more laughters. Silly laughters, that is. Nothing intelligent or smart about this movie. And I mean nothing at all!
