Little Brother

It's going to make you cry and laugh like you have never done both at the same time - that's exactly the effect that rubbed on me and the three children watching Little Brother on the same couch. Besides the fact that Park Ji-Bin is a really cute boy indeed, of course!

Little Brother tells of a true story about a young boy named Hani (starred by park Ji-Bin). Spoilt brat at home and trouble maker at school, Hani is one of the most mischievous boy in the neighbourhood. He bullies his classmates, neighbours and even his very own elder brother, HanByul. The boys share a very intimate brotherhood as HanByul plays the protective role while Hani continues to be the spoilt brat in the house. That's until HanByul collapses at home one evening - it's at this point that the story truly begins.

This almost documentary-like movie engages immediately with the heart as the director brings you through the story of a small boy with a deadly sick brother; a boy who is too young to understand what it means to lose his elder brother yet wanting to prevent the loss at all cost. It's an emotion-engaging movie that makes your heart all mushy inside as you wipe your tears away with a little smile. With charming cinematography styles and a strong heart matter, Little Brother is worth watching for all that it's worth.
