I Am Legend

I am definitely not a fan of Will Smith... but this is one fantastic movie you should not miss. Why? Because it is very engaging from the first scene right to the final seconds of the story. It is even more captivating if you enjoy asking yourself questions like 'What happens if humankind is wiped off earth?' and 'Can I actually live alone?'. It is scientific and theoretical, and absolutely sense-making.

Lieutenant Robert (starring Will Smith) has taken the responsibility on his shoulders to return the deadly state of the city into a bubbly living one when the entire humankind is infected with a virus. He promptly sends his wife and daughter away while he engages in this mission of saving mankind. But it lasted longer than he thought. Three years later and he is still roaming the streets on his own while hunting down the cure for this horrifying virus. Could this be his legend?

I Am Legend is captivating because of one thing - It makes a person realizes how awful it is to be alone in this world. Being alone influences daily routine, meal times, communication skills, etc. It makes people realise how important families are, and friends too. And that's the strength of this movie - realization.
