Sex, Lies and Online Dating
Book Title: Sex, Lies and Online Dating
Author: Rachel Gibson
Amount of Pages: 276
My sister bought it, so I read it. And I've gotta say, "Rachel Gibson is quite a writer."
Lucy is a mystery crime writer who is working on her latest novel. She goes into the Internet to find out more about potential personalities which she can use in her characters in the novel. She even makes the effort to go out on blind dates so that she can get to know them better. In one of these dates, she meets a guy named Quinn who is the sexiest thing that could ever happen to a girl. She later finds out that he too is going undercover in the online dating scenes for his job purposes.
Rachel Gibson is a fast pacer. Her novel is written in a fast pace mode where everything seems to happen from one chapter to another. She doesn't bore you with boring decription or lengthy monologues. Rather, she jumps straight into the main scenes and let the story unfold with each step without lag. It feels like a fast train running out of time, but at the same time, the quick run is enjoyable.
I am not too sure if I can take back-to-back of her style of writing, but it sure was enjoyable while it lasted. For now.
