Funeral March
I've watched a couple of sad movies about people dying and love, but Funeral March would have to be one of the best expressed one. It's kinda slow with no momentum whatsoever, but you will find yourself laughing and crying throughout the story.
Yee (starred by Charlene Choi), a patient diagnosed with cancer, hires Duan (starred by Eason Chan), a funeral director, to plan for her very own funeral. Through ups and downs, Duan manages to convince her that life is worth living for if you start looking for the rainbow after the rain. Thus, Yee agrees to go for the operation so that she can have another second chance in life.
It's slow, it's momentumless, it has a boring tone. But if you are a human (which I know fair well that you are), this movie will see your eyes dropping tears. And if ever you feel like switching the big screen because it's too boring to watch, I'll encourage you to watch on because there is a twist to its ending. It will not end the way you think it would.
A very deep heart-felt movie indeed!
