No Reservations

You know what? It's tough to be a perfectionist but it's always cool to be one.

I had my eye on this movie since the first time I saw the trailer simply because the main character is an iron fist female chef who has total control of her life. The day she lost that control, she found herself.

Starring Catherine Zeta-Jones as Master Chef Kate Armstrong, No Reservations is a story about a chef running her life the same way she runs her kitchen - proper, tidy, systematic, mistake-free. But life isn't always that way, is it? We can't stop life from changing who we are.

When her sister passed away in an accident, Kate inherited her niece Zoe (starred by Abigail Breslin). With a nine year old kid to take care of and the appearance of a new talented chef, Nick Palmer, (starred by Aaron Eckhart) in her kitchen, Kate was losing it.

The many people whom I have spoken to, they have watched this movie and said it sucks big time cause the plot is not strong enough, it doesn't have suspense, too predictable and boring. But here's my take on this masterpiece:

'If you are looking for a beautiful tale about finding the person living in you and actually understand what it means to experience various emotions at the same time, this movie is your main entree.'

Laugh and cry together with Catherine Zeta-Jones because she did a splendid job in bringing out the character. I am loving her already! Her sharp face features, the way her eyes change a tone lighter, the way she talks and walks, etc. I think I'm going to check out more movies of her.
