Tacit Agreement (默契)

I'm sure all of you have heard of Sammi Cheng, the girl who acted in silly films and produced albums of her own hoarse voice. Honestly, I don't consider myself a fan but I do love the characteristic of Sammi. Have you noticed that in every film she starred in, her expressions and actions are always the same? The consistency of the way she smiles, cries, gets upset and grieves. It's that consistency of hers that had me noticing her.

For some reasons I couldn't comprehend on my own, I began to fell in love with her hoarse voice and the songs she sings. Maybe it's because whenever her songs fill the air, I am brought back to the wonderful times featured in her films. Those touching moments, the lovey-dovey times, the happy and the sad. Her songs become meaningful only when I fit them into the scenes in her films.
