The Holiday
Don’t you just love holidays?
I’ve never seen as many break-up relationships in a movie as the ones found in THE HOLIDAY. So damn confusing with all the relationship confusions and soul ties – the typical I-love-you-but-I-can’t-be-with-you scenarios. But I definitely like the part where the script goes so deeply into how strangely people act when they are in love. Can love really be blind, just like Shakespeare has claimed?
I love the lifestyle each character in the movie has – so nice, so modern, so real! Gosh, if I could live in a home like Amanda’s (Cameron Diaz). Man! That would be a dream comes true. Actually, her job wasn’t too bad neither. And I can’t believe she earns big bucks for it. Maybe I should switch jobs.
Generally, this movie is all about people giving up on love but LOVE NEVER GIVES UP ON US. That’s the beauty of LOVE.
Oh, I just love to say that. Can I say that again?
That’s the beauty of LOVE.
