The Sims 2

Been looking forward to this for ages!! I've loved The Sims when it was released a few years back. But like many other games, I got bored of it after a year because there really isn't an ultimate goal to the game. It's just building life, living life and having life. I guess the fun part was in building the house of your dreams and making out with other characters which assemble your lover in real life. Other than that, The Sims is just The Sims.

However, everything was different when The Sims 2 was released into the market. The game has finally found an ultimate goal. There (finally) is something to look forward to beside building your dream home and having relationships with your neighbours. There is a mission. Check out the video above for the short intro to the game when you first start playing.

You'll start with having car problems while passing by StrangeTown and a mechanic is there to help you out. While you trust him with your car, he suddenly disappears into thin air along with his garage and your precious car. Now, you have no choice but to live in StrangeTown because the next residential area would be miles and miles away. And thus, begins your mission in StrangeTown: Save the Town!

Enjoy a pinch of dream home building while running errands for your neighbours. Discover a secret religion while earning money for the better spa at home. Answer questions that others can't while taking small steps towards accomplishing the entire mission of the game. When you are done, feel free to explore the whole town again. Once the mission is accomplished, it's back to The Sims style with a little bit more style and elegance.
