Ice Princess

A heart-warming masterpiece that touches the heart of young teenagers and the adults, Ice Princess skates into various elements in life such as love, parenthood, friendship, courage, determination and most of all, dreams. It is a story about physics geek, Casey Carlyle, who discovers her true dream in ice skating. With her new found passion, she has to decide between Harvard and ice skating. If only it is that simple to make a decision...

Casey's mother has been looking forward to see her daughter in Harvard University since the day she gave birth to her darling. She believes that a person is secured in her life when she achieves certificates that proves her intelligence. On the other hand, Tina Harwood, the coach for Casey realizes that her daughter might be on the losing end if she sends both of them into the same competition. Thus, she sabotages Casey so that her daughter can enter the finals.

With all these conflicts begin the ice skating journey of Casey Carlyle. Oh yea, almost forget, a boy comes into her life too. His name is Teddy. All in all, it's an all-rounded story of a young teenager trying to find a place to fit herself while achieving her dreams.

All-rounded as the story goes, the way the movie was being shot is also complete and engaging. The way the camera captures the flying ice skaters, the parties, the emotions of the characters is totally amazing. It feels as if you are there in the movie as part of the settings.
