The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian
I used to find the Kings and Queens of Narnia cute and adorable. Now, they look kinda pathetic to me, except for Lucy who still holds the cuteness in her facial expression. And the new prince starred by Ben Barnes is totally not admirable. Remember how it feels when you watch a real prince fight for his kingdom, love and life? That awww... he is so incredible feeling? Prince Caspian doesn't have it. He is a character I could easily forget the moment I step out of the cinema.
Having said that, I really do think that the first installation of the Chronicles of Narnia did a better job than this one. The first installation was original, majestic and impressive. But this one is boring, predictable and lack of suspense. And I thought some of the outfits for the characters were kinda stupid like the metal full face mask the enemies wore. My sister and I were laughing at that in the cinema.
The storyline is definitely not working here. It felt like the scriptwriter just had to whip up a script because everyone loves Narnia. Sorry to say, I kinda dislike Narnia now. Somehow I am not looking forward to any future installation for Narnia anymore. My younger brother begs to differ though. He really enjoyed the movie.
