Surf's Up

Hi! This is Cmate, reporting live from... erm, my messy smelly bedroom. Today's review is based on up-coming animation movie SURF'S UP.

Ahem.. hem! A comedy animation movie that could not outbeat Finding Nemo and Incredibles, Surf's Up was quite a dreading catch. A story about how a young dude Cody Maverick (starred by Shia LaBeouf) wants to be a successful surfer, after the footsteps of his dead idol, Big Z. The issue is he doesn't know how to surf. So what happens when you have a dream that seems impossible to achieve? You keep running after it. Or at least that's what Cody did.

The penguins are cute, no doubt about that. The younger penguins are so lovable, you feel like cuddling them to sleep all night. But other than that, I didn't really enjoyed the movie. It was just another animated cast sold to children - my brother of twelve likes it!

P/s: I am writing it as if I am a reporter at the scene because the film is directed in a documentary style, with a camera crew following Coby from day one of his expedition to the happy ending.
