Firstly, I thought the title was stupid. But after reading to the last page, I realised it is not. It is nothing but the best title ever for the kind of story being told. And for once, the word forget has more meaning to me than it ever did previously.
The story of a wonderful romance high school couple unfolds when Eva and Zac met each other during their 5th year of studies. Zac has just transferred from an all-boy school to a mixed school (Eva’s) because he wasn’t good in sports. And Eva has just lost her beloved father who died in an accident.
I will not elaborate more to spoil the story for you potential readers out there. But there is one thing that I would say, “The word FORGET is powerful.”
Forget the hurt that breaks your heart,
Forget the pain that cut you apart,
But do not forget the love I have for you,
May it bring us together through and through.
Okay, I wrote that, not found in the book – so don’t bother looking for it. Just remember that there are things for us to forget, but there are also things that we should not forget because forgetting does not help healing. Remembering does.
