Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life
It's an old movie, yes. But there is no stopping to a crazy reviewer like me to dig up good films in the past to be enjoyed in the comfort of my own couch in front of the TV.
Angeline Jolie stars as Lara Croft in this movie and I have to say that she's doing a good job in it actually. Lara Croft is a British archaelogist who has made the most important discovery in the word - an orb that leads to the Pandora's Box, in which life begins and may be destructed if anyone gets hold of it.
Her task is to make sure no one brings the box out of its hiding place. And there is only one person who can help her - her former lover, Terry Sheridan (stared by Gerard Butler). Unfortunately, Terry turned out to be the last block when it comes to fulfilling her mission and she has to kill him in order to save the world.
This action packed film is like a James Bond series, except that agent 007 is a female - a hot and stylish one, that is. By now, you should have realised that I am a fan of independent women. I admire women who play the roles of powerful leaders, and those who are good in what they do and wouldn't let the world influence their focus. I aim to be like them. And I will.
